## What it does

- Mirrors a physical Mac or Windows display to a Galaxy Tab.
- Creates a virtual extended display and streams it to the tablet.
- Sends S Pen pressure, tilt, hover, eraser, and side-button input back to the desktop.
- Sends touch, keyboard, mouse, media-key, text, URL, app-launch, and macro actions.
- Shows a floating glass keycap deck whose shortcut profile changes with the active desktop app.
- Connects on the same local network over Wi-Fi or by USB.
- Requires a six-digit pairing confirmation and encrypted session before video or input data is exchanged.

The Android tablet is the receiving client. DrawBridge does not capture the Android screen or inject input into Android. The macOS or Windows helper captures and encodes the desktop display and injects input received from the tablet.

## Requirements

- Android tablet: Android 10 or later (API 29); designed for Galaxy Tab and S Pen.
- macOS host: macOS 14 or later.
- Windows host: Windows 11 x64 or ARM64 for the current Preview.

## Current release

Current version: **0.10.1**.

- macOS: the public DMG is signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarized.
- Windows x64: the public Preview passed physical Galaxy Tab and clean Windows Sandbox validation, but the installer is not code-signed. Windows SmartScreen may show an Unknown publisher warning. Verify the SHA-256 value published with the GitHub release before installing.
- Windows ARM64: a native helper/runtime/VDD package is provided as an experimental Preview. Its architecture and signatures are build-time verified, but it has not yet run on physical ARM64 hardware.
- Android: paid Google Play app (₩30,000). Desktop helpers remain free.

## Installation

On macOS, open the DMG and drag DrawBridge into Applications. Grant Screen Recording and Accessibility permissions when requested.

On Windows, run Setup as an administrator. Administrator access is required during the first install for firewall rules and the virtual display driver. Because the Preview is unsigned, verify its SHA-256 against the value on the release page before installation.

## Common questions

### Should I use Wi-Fi or USB?

Wi-Fi discovers the helper automatically when both devices are on the same LAN. Use USB when lower latency or a more stable connection is needed.

### Why does the tablet not show my computer?

Confirm that the tablet and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network and that the DrawBridge desktop helper is running. If discovery still fails, try a USB connection.

### Is Windows supported?

Yes. Unsigned Windows 11 Previews are available for x64 and ARM64. ARM64 is experimental until physical-hardware validation is complete. The SmartScreen Unknown publisher warning is expected; verify the SHA-256 published with the release before installing.

## Privacy

Screen video and input events travel between the user's own tablet and computer and are not stored on a DrawBridge server. See the complete [privacy policy](https://mingi115.github.io/drawBridge/privacy.html) for pairing, diagnostics, retention, deletion, and contact details.
